Playa de los Pocillos

Playa de los Pocillos is one of Puerto del Carmen's main beaches, extending over 1 kilometer of golden sand along the resort's eastern side. The beach offers calm, shallow waters perfect for families with children and less confident swimmers.

The wide sandy beach provides ample space even during busy periods. The gentle slope into the water and generally calm conditions make it ideal for swimming and water play. The beach is cleaner and less crowded than the main Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen's center.

A paved promenade runs the length of the beach, lined with restaurants, cafés, and shops. The walkway is perfect for morning runs, evening strolls, or cycling. The area has a more relaxed, less touristy feel than central Puerto del Carmen while maintaining good facilities.

Water sports including kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet skiing are available. Several beach clubs offer sunbed and umbrella rentals. The eastern end tends to be quieter, while the western end near Playa Grande has more activity.

Free beach access. Facilities include showers, restrooms, and lifeguards. Numerous dining options along promenade. Good wheelchair access. Popular with families and couples. Less windy than some north-facing beaches. Parking available.
