Salinas del Janubio
Salines de Janubio, also known as Las Salinas, is a salt production area located in the southwest of the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. The Salines are considered one of the most important and beautiful natural attractions of the island. The salt pans are formed by a series of shallow pools that are filled with seawater and are used for the production of salt.

Getting there
To get to Las Salinas de Janubio in Lanzarote, you can take a car or bus to Yaiza, then take the LZ-2 road towards Playa Blanca. After about 8 kilometers, you will see signs for Janubio and the salt flats. You can also take a tour from a nearby town such as Playa Blanca or Costa Teguise.
